Hey, I’m Amy. I am the one with an iPhone in hand as the face behind The Pretty Capture.
I’ve spent 10+ years in the content creation world, working with brands, businesses, and capturing stories big and small. After taking some time away in 2023 to have our third baby, I came back to find weddings buzzing with a whole new kind of magic, couples were inviting content creators along to capture their day in real time, all on an iPhone! Right up my street I thought!
For me, it was the most natural thing ever. I’d already been filming and creating content for friends, family (and pretty much anyone who’d let me 🤭) for years and I’ve always loved weddings.
I’ll be the one behind the iPhone discreetly filming, but also the one secretly wiping away tears for couples I’ve only just met.
A few fun facts about me:
• I’m a sucker for a male voice choir or a gospel choir (instant goosebumps every time).
• Cake? I’ll pass. But hand me a sticky toffee pudding and it won’t last a second.
• My absolute favourite shots to capture are the ones in between the looks, the touches, the laughter. The ones you think no one noticed in those quiet moments.
I’m also the founder of Wales’ biggest content studio in Merthyr Tydfil, Xo Studios - Content Studio South Wales
Myself and my husband saw a gap in the content creator/marketing world in 2024 and decided to go for it!
So I spend a lot of my time there, capturing the BTS of brand shoots for incredible businesses. So it isn’t just weddings I specialise in 📲.
