WNZK also airs some talk shows in English, including the long-running "Ask Your Neighbor" with Bob Allison (formerly aired on WWJ).WNZK is owned by Birach Broadcasting Corporation and has a transmitter power of 2500 watts. It is known as "The Station of the Nations." 97.9 FM in Detroit aired a similar ethnic format for many years with similar calls (WMZK) and the same "Station of the Nations" slogan until 1980; it is now WJLB.
