WNZK WNZK is a radio station in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, United States. It began broadcasting October 12, 1985.

It broadcasts in the AM radio band at 690 kHz during the daytime and at 680 kHz at night. This is to protect the nighttime pattern of Montreal, Quebec's CKGM, a clear-channel station on 690. uropean descent, including both locally produced and non-locally produced programming (such as news reports from the BBC World Service's Arabic service). WNZK also airs some talk shows in English, including the long-running "Ask Your Neighbor" with Bob Allison (formerly aired on WWJ).WNZK is owned by Birach Broadcasting Corporation and has a transmitter power of 2500 watts. It is known as "The Station of the Nations." 97.9 FM in Detroit aired a similar ethnic format for many years with similar calls (WMZK) and the same "Station of the Nations" slogan until 1980; it is now WJLB.
