👑 GOOD MORNING, MILLIONAIRES! 🦋

One lesson every business owner has to learn is this:

Not every friend is a client, and not every client is a friend.

Stop measuring your friendships by who buys from your business. Everybody who loves you will not need what you sell, and that does not automatically mean they don’t support you. Sometimes support looks like a share, referral, recommendation, introduction, comment, or simply speaking your name in a room you’re not in.

But understand the other side too.

Every client who spends money with you does not automatically become your friend. They are a customer, and they deserve professionalism, excellent service, boundaries, and respect. You don’t have to give someone personal access to you simply because they support your business.

As entrepreneurs, we have to learn how to separate relationships from transactions without losing our humanity.

Your friends don’t owe you a purchase.
Your clients don’t owe you a friendship.
And YOU don’t owe everybody unlimited access to you.

Build genuine relationships. Provide exceptional service. Appreciate every referral. Protect your boundaries. And stop taking everything personally.

🦋 MILLIONAIRE BUTTERFLIES, LET'S TALK SELF-AWARENESS & BUSINESS! 🦋

One thing you have to learn in business is you cannot hustle everybody. 😂 Stop feeling like every person you meet needs to immediately hear your 5-minute elevator pitch, buy something, book something, or collaborate with you.

Sometimes the best way to open a door is indirectly.

See somebody hosting an event? Pull up.
See somebody promoting their business? Like it.
See something they posted that you genuinely support? Comment.
Got something valuable to share? Share it.
See an opportunity that could benefit them? Send it to them.

You are not always looking for a sale. Sometimes you're building relationship equity. You're letting people see your face, your energy, your consistency, and your support BEFORE you ever ask them for anything.

And here's where self-awareness comes in:

Know when to speak.
Know when to listen.
Know when to pitch.
Know when to simply support.
And most importantly, know when NOT to force a connection.

You don't have to knock somebody's door down. Sometimes you just need to keep showing up until they open the door themselves.

Your next client, partner, referral, investor, opportunity, or collaboration may come from somebody who simply noticed that you were consistently present and genuinely supportive.

🦋 Don't always chase the door. Sometimes position yourself so the door recognizes YOU.

There comes a point when you have to stop pretending you don’t see what’s happening.

I’ve watched people try to eat off my plate when I turned my head. They thought I wouldn’t notice. They thought because I was quiet, I was unaware. They thought because I had shared, supported, opened doors, and made room, they were entitled to keep reaching for what I worked to build.

But here’s the truth:

I noticed. I just chose not to fight over the plate.

I removed my energy.
I removed my resources.
I removed my access.
I removed my presence from the table.

And instead of sitting around arguing about who deserved a seat, I went and built another table.

Then another.

And another.

Until I had TEN MORE TABLES.

That taught me something.

Sometimes elevation requires you to stop explaining your boundaries to people who benefited from you not having any.

Sometimes self-respect looks like walking away quietly.

Sometimes independence means realizing that you don’t need permission, validation, or an invitation to build something of your own.

And sometimes the greatest response isn’t revenge.

It’s growth.

I don’t have to destroy your table because you tried to eat from mine.

I don’t have to compete with you.

I don’t have to expose you.

I don’t have to prove what I know.

I can simply move differently.

Because everything I build from this point forward doesn’t require me to keep handing out access just because somebody was there in the beginning.

I can love you and still have boundaries.

I can forgive you and still change your level of access.

I can wish you well and still choose not to build with you.

That’s not bitterness.

That’s wisdom.

👑 Moral of the story is…

Stop fighting people for a seat at a table they were never willing to share fairly. Get up. Take your plate. Take your vision. Take your energy. And build your own table.

And when you realize you can build ten more tables, you’ll stop worrying about who is trying to take your seat at the first one.

Protect what you built. Honor what it cost you to build it. And never confuse having a good heart with giving everybody unlimited access to it.

🦋 Sometimes the elevation isn’t getting a better seat. It’s realizing you were always capable of building the whole damn table. 👑
