LTU Music Society

LTU Music Society We are an official student organization at Lawrence Technological University that aims to unite students through the common interest of performing music.

Musicians and singers of all different skill levels are welcome. We encourage members to work in groups on songs and arrangements that interest them and to eventually perform those pieces in public. Most group members are interested in contemporary music genres such as pop, acoustic, and rock. We also provide leadership opportunities through our five elected positions, and we hold formal meetings once a month. All other meetings are casual jam sessions.

Hello all,

Hope you've been doing well, I know it's been quite a while. My team in the audio senior projects class is looking to build an on-campus podcast studio in T113 available for all students, faculty, and staff to use, and we could use some help getting started. The LTU Music Society is partnering with Student Engagement to host a concert during Welcome Week on Friday, August 25th starting at 7pm in the Quad at LTU. If anyone knows any bands, let them know or pass along their contact info to me.
There will be an open mic before the concert from 5-6:30pm if any solo performers are interested.
Also, this will be a great opportunity for audio engineering students to get hands on experience, something that is extremely valuable. Again, contact me via FaceBook message, call/text, or email. Contact info below. Please leave a clear message if you call me.
