Remember, if you are alone and the police demand that you pull over, be sure to find a well-lit and public place BEFORE stopping.

If you are afraid or feel the stop is unwarranted, ask for a supervisor, IMMEDIATELY!

If you have your cell phone, call a family friend or send your location to inform people exactly where you have stopped. If you are not at a gas station or other easily recognized location, look for signs and street names.

Try to identify the police badge number or name to share with your phone contact. And include why you(or suspect) have been stopped.

Stay calm.
