NEW YORK (AP) — Savannah Guthrie did more than just display her journalistic chops at NBC News' town hall with President Donald Trump. She changed the subject for her bosses. NBC was reeling heading into Thursday's event, under widespread criticism for scheduling it at the same time as ABC's t...

COVID-19 surge puts Lane County on governor's Watch List

"There is no question that the spread of COVID-19 in Lane County is connected—to a degree—to student social activities. EUGENE, Ore. - Lane County has been added to Governor Kate Brown's County Watch List, joining 4 other Oregon counties in need of help combatting the spread of COVID-19. “The Oregon Health Authority continually monitors case counts across the state," Brown said. "Recognizing the case increases....

why are you posting responses to me, and not allowing me to respond to them? are you not the "press"? or are you a support for one group of people

You need to investigate why Springfield Public School district along with Oregon Department of Education agreed to open k-3 in person on Monday September 21st when all of the metrics PRIOR to September 21st were in the metric range for NOT being able to open. Parents are infuriated at the lack of transparency, the shady ways around fudging when information comes out allowing more schools to open.. because once open it’s easy for them to stay open regardless of Covid cases in the schools. YOU as journalists need to be digging into the daily/weekly inconsistencies of information. IF parents are making time to search for this information to find answers you absolutely should be making it your top priority! If in fact your a news organization that has “breaking news”.
