Did you see the pelican?? 🥹

I can’t believe we were the only ones out there, but I wasn’t mad about it either.

One of my favorite parts of a trip, whether it’s an all-inclusive resort, a US weekend getaway, or any other destination, is drinking coffee and watching the sunrise.

I do it at least once every trip! I’ve seen some pretty incredible sunrises in some extraordinary places, and it’s something I look forward to every time we travel.

This adults-only resort actually lives up to the hype!

We loved Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres so much. It really is the perfect getaway, whether it’s an anniversary trip, solo trip, honeymoon, or a “just because” trip.

I want to point out that I did not mention ice cream sandwiches once in this video!

Here’s what we loved:

🍦Ice cream sandwiches
🌮 Food was great overall
🤫 Quiet, not a party vibe
🏖️ No pool chair wars
💪🏼 Nice gym
🍺 Craft b**r at Sports Bar
🛎️ Great service
🌊 Gorgeous beach

Don’t come for us! 🙈

We loved Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres. It’s a GREAT resort, and we would 100% go back.

When we rate resorts, we always get asked why resorts we loved didn’t get 5 stars across the board.

This is either because 1) there was something minor we didn’t love, or 2) another resort was superior in that category, and it didn’t feel right to rate them the same.

Food is a great example. The food at ECPM was great! But was it the best food we’ve had at a resort? Close, but not the best.

There were some things we LOVED about this resort compared to others. Stay tuned to find out what! 👀

Most resorts have a weak spot. Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres didn’t have any. 👀

This was the most consistent resort we’ve rated. It wasn’t necessarily “the best” in any specific category, but it scored very high across the board.

It might be the highest scoring resort out of all the resorts we’ve rated!

But there were a few (VERY minor!) things we didn’t love. Follow along to find out what. 🤔

Bottom line: We loved this resort overall. We would go back TODAY if we could! It’s a great resort. Definitely worth a visit.

That was not on purpose, I swear! 🙈

We love rating all inclusive resorts. We couldn’t wait to rate Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres!

I didn’t realize until I’d already recorded this video that we gave it a 4.5 out of 5 in EVERY. SINGLE. CATEGORY! 😂

Honestly, that just goes to show how well-rounded of a resort this is!

We would definitely go back.
