As of today, I am officially switching focus from this page for my studio to my own personal page: Alvin Zamudio Music Writing & Audio Production.
The reason for this change is because first, I am lately becoming more interested in promoting my own abilities as a producer as well as a music writer, rather than just my studio, the soundbox. Second, since I am the sole engineer and producer there (it's my home studio), some redundancy is taking place which has been confusing to clients. In other words, the soundbox is really just me, and I already have my own page, so from now on, I'll promote both in one spot. :)
So, from here on out, please like my personal page and continue correspondence there asap. Thanks!

Well, as many of you know, I have been using my old MOTU 828 firewire interface ever since it came out in 2001. It's a beast and a classic. But it needed help to run multiple inputs for recording sessions because it only had two XLR ins. All was good until recently and even though I tried to fix it, it's finally time to give up the ghost.
I ordered a focusrite sapphire 40 today to replace it. We're back in business in a few days with no more thrifty gerry-rigging.
My apologies to Kevin Bilchik (Kevin Bilchik Music) for having to scratch today's session after your long drive. The one in April will rock, though. Promise. :)
