Do you have an elementary student interested in becoming an author or illustrator when they grow up? Sign them up for one of A Pop of Indie’s camps this summer! We have one week in Saint Clair Shores and two weeks in Birmingham this year!

Campers will learn the book writing and publishing process first hand from local independent authors while spending a week writing their own picture book!

Bookfest is expanding this year out of Shed 5 where most of the vendors and authors have been in the past to the adjacent shed 4 and the plaza on Russell Street (where Arts and Scraps and the Michigan Science Center center activities for children also will be and the parking lot on Russell street next to Shed 4 and the Plaza- where you enter will depend on where you park and there are lots of options for parking some free and some paid throughout the Market area including at the far end outside Shed 1
