A very sincere and serious question:

In order to help our community, what could we do to “pay it forward with INTENTION.”

Not coffee at Starbucks.

Something impactful? That helps move the needle for a person or an organization?

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

“If you KNOW your dreams, and if you SHARE your dreams, people will help you REACH your dreams.”

God gave me this quote about 10 years ago.

I have advised others to share THEIR dreams. Crazy, beautiful things have happened!

Today I am going to share mine.

Help St. Louis become known as a city that pays it forward with INTENTION.

What does that mean to me?

That we (all of us!) look for ways to help others in our community intentionally.

What might that look like?

Helping someone FIND a job or get a better job.

Helping a local small nonprofit (my favorite) in some way.

With intention is what I feel is important. Sorry. Not buying a Starbucks for someone (I call that a Random Act of Kindness).

You can pay it forward with:

Your time.
Financially:
Donations from your home.
Introductions

And hundreds of other ways!

Are you interested?

Who do you in now that might be interested in a challenge like this for our city?

Would you introduce me?

Thrifty find? More like a hand me down find! I have to give a shoutout to my friend Anna for passing this dress onto me! She’s had it for years, and now I get to enjoy it for years!!

Maybe, instead of throwing your clothes away, or taking them to the goodwill, see if your friends can reuse them first!

My daughter, Jaime Salas, posted something with these two words together… “Extravagant Compassion.”

Doesn’t that sound wonderful? I love this, Jaime.

Like “radical kindness.”

As we are In the week of Thanksgiving , and we will be just a bit more thankful, what might it look like if we practiced “extravagant compassion.”

Would we smile at the older couple in front of us walking slower than us? The mom with the child that is tired and cranky?

What does “extravagant compassion” look like to you? 💜

Now to load up my car (at the Businesz lodge) for our event at Vue 17 for nonprofits tomorrow! I will run between raindrops!!
