Four years ago, I knew something had to give. Working at my corporate job was costing me more than it was giving, especially to my mental health.

So I took a leap in February 2020, starting a video marketing company called Teddy Media Productions.

But 100+ videos, countless social posts, emails, google my business audits, and strategies later - we’re still here (barely 🤪).

It’s been the most challenging, gratifying, difficult, enriching, eye-opening experience of my life. We are truly capable of designing our lives, protecting our peace, and making a living.

I’m excited for this next chapter and to be focusing on the things, and services, I enjoy and know well.

I’ve come to realize that the people who finally get where they desire to go are the ones who never stop moving forward. Take a rest, take a beat, refocus - but remember why you started in the first place. And if it still rings true, shake it off and go again.

It's our TWO-YEAR anniversary!!

Full disclosure, this crept up on me. Teddy Media has been a fun and terrifying rollercoaster, but I cannot thank all of the people who bet on me in my earliest days enough!

Business is something I can deeply passionate about because I know it can change the world and people's daily lives. So while I want to say thank you to clients, past and present, I also just want to say - keep going.

We're doing it! And stay tuned for more.

It’s time to say good-bye to one-time video at Teddy Media.

When it comes to video, we fiercely believe in two things:

1️⃣ - it needs to be effective.
2️⃣ - it needs to be consistent.

There’s certainly a place for one-time video production but that’s not the focus of our business. We want to produce consistent video that educates, connects, and converts your audience while building community. And that requires a full strategy.

As a final offer, we have 5-slots open for a one-time video - details are:

🎥Cost is $375 and must be paid in full to reserve your spot.
🎥60-90 second video length with 1-2 filming locations/set-up - relatively close together.
🎥 Filming must be scheduled and completed by November 1.

Mel - "I really want to talk about random ass business topics but I don't have an outlet."

Mel - *8-hours later* - "Just create a show on LinkedIn where all the business people are at and see what happens."

Does anyone else talk to themselves constantly throughout the day? This particular convo came from me being so isolated in entrepreneur-land that I can't constantly talk about business with anyone but my dog Penny, and she's not feeling it.

So 'Watercooler Wednesdays' shall begin this week talking about why we're not really in a labor shortage, and how to engage with your employees like they're people and not just assets.

Teddy Media is so much more than videomarketing.

One big mistake I made in my business is not talking about other ways to partner outside of video, especially considering how much I love business.

So we are expanding!! More services and focus with clients who want to grow, which means less projects at a time but lots of attention and focus on those projects for maximum impact.

And more focus on access via webinars to get smart strategies to small business owners so they can execute.

More details to come in the next week, but we are so excited for the future.

Things are changing for Teddy Media. Big things. Exciting things!!

I’ve learned so much in the last 18-months, hell I’ve learned so much in the last 2-weeks as I’ve burned through 12-14 hour days.

The changes coming are going to allow me to do more of what I really love. They’re going to help maximize impact with small businesses who want to work with Teddy and invest in their success, and reach people with information that they can use to grow their businesses.
