Through Copeland’s Inspiring Horizons program, colleagues at our Atit plant created an immersive experience to help young engineers build skills, understand industry expectations and explore emerging trends.

In honor of Engineers Day in India, the team welcomed 73 students from ABIT College Satara for an Industry Readiness session that included:
• A plant tour connecting classroom learning to real-time product and process knowledge
• Guidance on what industry expects from new engineers, including career pathways and future-focused skills
• A discussion on safety as a deliberate choice that strengthens responsibility, discipline and long-term growth
• An introduction to SQDCP and Lean tools, highlighting how continuous improvement supports operational excellence

Colleagues in Milwaukee had the opportunity to take part in an Inspiring Horizons volunteer event with the United Community Center on Halloween, Oct. 31.

Inspiring Horizons, Copeland’s global social impact program, is dedicated to empowering children, youth and young adults in underrepresented communities through connection, access and education. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating meaningful and sustainable change in the communities we serve.

Pumpkin Patch Day was a success, bringing smiles to 190 kindergarten students who each had the chance to paint their own pumpkins. Fifteen volunteers from the Vilter team at Copeland joined in on the fun, helping the children with their creations, admiring their festive costumes and enjoying a great morning.
