Clayton Norden has been incredibly generous to the St. Louis film community. He has provided locations for numerous filmmakers, supported Kickstarter campaigns, and contributed to film festivals. Now, he’s taken his commitment even further by establishing a dedicated space where filmmakers can build sets and utilize an open area, along with a small warehouse, for filming. It’s not a traditional studio, but rather a dynamic backlot designed for creativity and production.

We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of Backlot Studios—a three-acre, fenced-in lot in the heart of St. Charles. The space features a 4,000-square-foot warehouse and a concrete platform, serving as a valuable resource for film productions, music videos, and private events.

Join us on Saturday night, April 19th, for an open house celebration! The evening will feature comedy, an open mic, and a karaoke contest. Whether you want to participate, spectate, or simply take a tour, we welcome you to be part of this exciting new venture!
