LONG POST:

This is the time of year when people re-evaluate and set goals. That's what I've been doing the last week or so. My blog is very important to me, so that will be my focus next year. I've applied to Adsense to monetize my blog. Once that is approved my goal is to post twice a week - one food related and one either craft or travel related.
My goal for the blog is to increase page views so that I can get a little money and possibly some brand deals. I started blogging back in 2010. I wrote for a number of different websites including Food Network (FN Dish) and I also participated in blog hops - that helped my blog grow. It's been a long time and blogging has evolved. Video seems to have taken over, meaning that fewer people actually read. I know there are still people who go to blogs from recipes, info and entertainment. It just seems like the audience is narrowing.
Like I said - my blog is very important to me and is where my heart lies. I'll still be here on FB. I'll probably still make reels and maybe even go live once in a while. But for next year I'm making it the year of my blog. Putting a lot more energy and love into it. And I hope that you join me - visit the blog, follow and comment. I appreciate your support. Look at the gorgeous color I get with my Hamilton Beach Multi cooker. I just season my chicken and select the roast option. Beautifully cooked chicken in 30 minutes! This multi cooker would make a great gift!

Moving slow today. My knee is feeling stiff, so I need to do some extra stretching. Not sure if I'm going live today. I don't have anything planned. So I think I'll play it by ear today.
