ICYMI : last week felt like a crash course in how wild politics + culture are right now.

Trump is pressing red states like h*ll to redraw congressional district borders, ESPN quietly backed away from the Colin K docuseries, Amanda went head-to-head with a sea of Black conservatives who clearly forgot their history, and the White House somehow suggested slavery is “talked about too badly” … like America didn’t build its foundation on it.

You can try to twist the narrative, but you can’t erase the truth. That’s exactly why we’re here to unpack it all, unfiltered.

This week feels like a love letter to Black legacy and speed. Damson Idris is stepping into the fast lane with his new F1 movie, while Rajah Caruth is out here actually living it—an HBCU grad making history on the NASCAR track.

It’s giving TV heartthrob meets real-life trailblazer.

And if that wasn’t enough 90s nostalgia for you, Brandy and Monica just announced their first-ever tour, 27 years after “The Boy Is Mine” had us all choosing sides.

From the screen to the streets to the stage, Black excellence is moving at full throttle.
