A New Chapter for St. Clair: Announcing the Dissolution of the St. Clair Downtown District, Inc., and Our Partnership with the St. Clair Area Chamber Foundation

After much careful consideration and with a deep sense of gratitude for the years of support we’ve received, The St. Clair Downtown District, Inc. has made the decision to formally dissolve its operations. While this marks the end of one chapter, it also signals the beginning of an exciting new era for our community.

We are thrilled to announce that we’ve partnered with the St. Clair Area Chamber Foundation, a vibrant organization committed to the growth and prosperity of St. Clair. This strategic partnership ensures that the energy, passion, and vision that defined our work will live on through the St. Clair Area Chamber Foundation, which shares our commitment to fostering a thriving, engaged, and dynamic community.

In addition, we are proud to donate the remaining funds of The St. Clair Downtown District, Inc. to the St. Clair Area Chamber Foundation. These resources will help fuel their mission to host impactful events, support local businesses, along with scholarships and create memorable experiences that celebrate everything that makes St. Clair a wonderful place to live, work, and visit.

We want to express our heartfelt thanks to all our supporters, volunteers, and partners who have made our work possible over the years. While our organization may be dissolving, the spirit of collaboration and community that we’ve built together will continue to grow and flourish through this new partnership.

Thanks to everyone who was able to attend SummerFest yesterday and a special thanks to all that participated in the event! We appreciate the 54 Cars, bikes and UTVs that didn’t let the possibility of rain hold them back from registered for Motors On Main. Along with the Co****le participants!! It takes a village and each year we strive to do better and do our best to incorporate feedback from our community! We had such a great turnout and the weather was on our side this year! 💖

Main Street will be close this Saturday at 10:00 am for the Downtown Summerfest from Kitchell and Park to East Springfield Rd. Please plan alternate routes.
