Bob Yehling was a poet, author, editor, ghostwriter, marketing expert . . . and a dear friend to many.
For those who haven’t already heard, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the recent passing of one of our authors, Robert Yehling.
He wrote, cowrote, and ghostwrote over a dozen books and edited several hundred others, and he encouraged countless more to share their stories. His career as an award-winning author, poet, journalist, editor, ghostwriter, educator, and marketing and public relations expert spanned 45 years. One top of his books we’ve published, several of our authors worked with Bob in one capacity or another to get their books written, edited, published, and promoted.
In addition to his prolific writing career, Bob was a life-long distance runner who completed the Boston Marathon three times and several ultra-marathons.
We were saddened that we couldn’t meet in person one last time at the St. Louis Publishers Association / The Missouri Writers Guild conference he was scheduled to speak at in September, before his health began to fail.
We also wanted to share this announcement from Write Away Books, of which Bob was a cofounder:
