For decades, Jennifer Huff was a familiar face in the North County School District—training teachers, introducing new technology, and finding creative ways to make learning fun. When she retired, she missed the energy, the kids, and the purpose that came with her work.

So, she did what passionate people do—she found a new way to make a difference. In March 2025, Jennifer launched Digital Creations by J Huff creating personalized, print-on-demand books that inspire, empower, and often feature local children and families right here in the Parkland.

From career-focused series and uplifting stories to branded coloring books for businesses, she’s published over 100 titles in under a year—each one blending her expertise in educational technology with her heart for storytelling.

We are so happy for you Jackson! 👏🏼

Jackson is six months off chemo and got the go ahead to end the other medications he has been taking! His spleen has returned to normal size and his iron levels are looking good. His liver numbers are also trending down! This is all great news! He will still go to childrens for lab checks once a month!🎗️🧡
He starts kindergarten in 11 days! 📚✂️✏️🏫

We love giving back to the community that supports us! Each month, we make it a priority to choose a local cause that touches our hearts and this month we had the joy of donating to the Farmington MO Pet Adoption Center.🐕‍🦺🐱- Not only did we get to meet some of the sweetest pups looking for loving homes, but we also got to connect with the amazing team who cares for them daily. Just after his third birthday, Jackson Wood was diagnosed with leukemia—a life-altering moment for his entire family. What began as a limp after a fall turned into months of testing, hospital stays, and ultimately, a battle no child should have to fight. But through every treatment, every setback, and every sleepless night, Jackson faced it all with a brave smile, and his family by his side. 🧡

Today, that same strength fuels Jackson’s Journey with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, the nonprofit his family started to give back to others walking a similar road. Together, they collect new toys and donations to refill toy boxes at Children’s Hospital — because Jackson knows how much those small moments of joy meant to him after a hard day of treatment.

His dad, Daniel, owner of Woody & Sons Disposal, proudly supports the mission and honors local childhood cancer warriors, including Jackson himself, on his company’s trucks. It’s a family-led effort built on hope, healing, and the belief that no child should feel alone in their fight. 💪🏼
