I was happy to speak to those in attendance today at the Northwest Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce meeting. We have to increase our tax base with responsible business growth that our communities need and not increased taxes on the backs of our property owners and seniors. I have the time and experience needed to help take District 7 from where we are to where our citizens need us to be.

A huge construction site in Monroe, Louisiana, is employing over 4,000 workers for a 5-9 year build-out. Beyond temporary construction roles, this project will create 150-200 permanent jobs, ranging from security and groundskeeping to skilled IT and trades like electricians and pipefitters. A new job and training center in Festus aims to connect local residents with these diverse opportunities.
