So and friend and I were discussing the StL club behaviours the other day and I have a question for the St. Louis party goers:

Why do you show up so late? Using a Saturday show at the upstairs for example, quite often only a small handfull of people show up before 11pm. Way less before 10. And pretty much no one before 9.

Why?

Cover is the same all night... And you could get so much more show for your money.

If you show up from 11-3, thats half the show you've missed. And quite often its some great local talent.

Would it matter if the headline acts were played earlier? Like at 11 or 12?

As we prepare for this return to decadence... I'd lime to take a moment ad give thanks for all of the love and support we've gotten from our EDM community. From help with venue acquisition, lighting, equipment, etc to the general support of people rallying to work, preform, and be a part of our crew to the people liking and sharing our page and events.

From the days when STLR was still a thing to today... One thing has never really left the EDM community of St. Louis. The love. The ability to band together and make something mundane like hanging out in a bar and listening to music into something absolutely magical.

Its why i always did it then, and why I'm doing it now, and why I'll keep doing it until someone drags me away to the retirement house kicking and screaming and asking to see their wristbands.
