We are already starting on plans for next years show but we want to hear from you. What was your favorite part of the show? What was your favorite song? Anything you didn’t like? Anything you’d like to see next year? We can’t make any promises but we want to hear from you!!

01/01/2026

Today is the last show, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did! See you next year!! We’ll be posting videos here and on our YouTube channel as soon as we edit them.

Sorry if there is some audio issues tonight, we’ll have it fixed as quickly as we can.

12/23/2025

Just a heads up. Around 8PM tonight we will be stopping the show temporarily to record Candy Cane Lane, Hallelujah, and Uptown Funk. Any songs currently in the queue will be deleted…sorry. You’ll still be able to enjoy the show while we record but there will be a slight delay in between each song while we sync multiple camera angles and we will be flying our drone around as well. It shouldn’t be much of an inconvenience and the show will continue like normal afterwards until 10PM and you’ll be able to add songs to the queue as soon as we’re done. Thanks and enjoy the show!

I guess the big moving head spotlights on the roof are using more power than I thought 😂😂😂 It’s a small price to pay for all the happiness they are bringing everyone this year. The show runs nightly (weather permitting) until New Years!

A repost of our most asked questions from earlier this year.

A repost of our most asked questions from earlier this year.

We thought we’d answer some of the questions we get asked the most about our Christmas Light Show! 🎄✨

1️⃣ Why do we do this?
Honestly…why not? We love Christmas, and we love seeing people smile. If we can bring a little joy and holiday magic to everyone that stops by, then it’s 100% worth it.

2️⃣ How much does it cost / Can we donate?
We don’t accept money — no tips, no donations, nothing like that. We’ve talked about raising money for charities, but we don’t want to deal with anything involving money. However… if Grandma sends some homemade cookies when we’re out handing out candy canes — we definitely won’t turn those down 😄

3️⃣ How much is your electric bill?
Since switching to LED pixels, the power usage has stayed surprisingly low — only around $30 extra in December in previous years. We did add four big moving-head spotlights this year, so that number will go up a bit… but with 38 solar panels on the roof, we’ll let Mother Nature handle the bill!

4️⃣ Can you see your house from space?
If the house from Deck the Halls can, then sure — we’ll say yes 😆 In reality, probably not. But passwngers and pilots can spot us from the sky as they fly overhead.

5️⃣ How many lights do you have?
Just under 30,000, but in our world we count pixels. Each light has 3 pixels, and our video screen has 192,000 pixels, bringing the grand total to roughly 282,004 pixels — including the 4 “oddball” spotlights on the roof 😂

6️⃣ When do you start putting the lights up?
November 1st is when the outdoor setup begins — but this is really a year-round hobby. We’re always building new props, testing ideas, and learning through lots of trial and error. And yes… blasting Christmas music in July when it’s 95° outside feels a bit strange 😂

7️⃣ Can we see how it all works?
Absolutely! Send us a message and we’ll figure out a time. We’ll gladly show you the beautiful chaos behind the scenes. It’s definitely a creative mess back there 😄

8️⃣ Your neighbors must hate you, right?
Not at all! We are incredibly blessed with supportive neighbors who enjoy the show as much as we do. They put up with the lights, music, and extra traffic — we couldn’t do this without them!

9️⃣ Do you do this for a living?
Nope! By day, I help small businesses with IT support and my wife works in sales and marketing. The light show is just our crazy (but fun) holiday passion project.

🔟 This isn’t a question bit it’s a very important message:
If you’re coming to watch the show — please don’t stop on Upper Spencer Mountain Road, even for a moment. Pull up Redding Road to safely enjoy the lights. There are too many accidents from distracted drivers, and we want everyone to have a magical and safe visit! 🚗✨

From our family to yours — thank you to everyone who comes out each year to watch, and share the holiday spirit. You are the reason we do this. ❤️🎅

Enjoy the show, and Merry Christmas! 🎄✨

Just a heads up, we will be flying our drone the next two nights capturing video of our show.

Sorry for the issues with the audio tonight. A nice father and son came to the door and let us know it wasn’t working. The FM transmitter had a warning that it was too cold 😂😂😂

A lot of people have asked what those white discs in our Christmas light show really are and how they work. So here’s a look behind the scenes! 🎄✨

This is the back of one of our props that I was repairing earlier today. It’s called a King’s Ransom, designed by Gilbert Engineering. The material is similar to what political yard signs are made from — just thicker and much stronger — because it needs to support nearly 40 pounds of pixels!

Each pixel is wired in a specific pattern so the computer knows exactly how to create the effects you see — whether it’s a tiny pinwheel or a full-house color fade. This single prop alone has 981 pixels, making it a “high-definition” piece in the display. We also 3D print the mounting brackets as each prop is different.

I also added a close-up photo of what one of the pixels looks like. Our show uses a few different types, but about 90% are these bullet-style pixels you see here.

Hope this helps answer some of the questions. I’ll post more behind the scenes stuff when I have more time. Enjoy the show!!!
