Miss Hawbaker has started a range unit in her classes, today students were able to enjoy the beautiful weather by collecting plants to identify.

What does agriculture look like through the eyes of elementary students? 🌱🍔

Stanley FFA gave students the chance to learn where their food comes from through hands on activities, including making butter, exploring soil, and connecting agriculture to the foods they see every day.

Today the Botany class planted trees at the community butterfly garden! They learned why trees can’t be planted as deep as shrubs, and had fun with the little helpers that live in the soil. It was a great morning to get a little dirty!
