Reason why I bought #google #stadia and some of my thoughts I hope team stadia would consider in the beginning of their come up!!!
1. I run with the underdog.
2. I'm not afraid of change.
3. I'm sick of my kids breaking my consoles. I mean they're older now. But when they were younger... so many things other than disc went into the disc slot. My wife just gave birth to my new born... f**k putting the console up high... I done had my daughter tug on a plugged in controller and watched my son at 3 years old push over my IKEA dresser. I even watched wires get tangled up and make cause people to fall over and sure enough some f**king freak accident happens that made my console drop to the ground.
4. Bought disc games and the damn disc broke in the console... you read it correctly. I had a ps3 and bought dbz budokai. Same day.... put it in my console. There was no disc in it when the damn thing was inserted into the ps3. There were no kids born yet. The mofo'r fake loaded and came spinning out fast out of the ps3. It was unbelievable. I brought the game and the console to gamestop. They told me it's nothing they can do for me. With the receipt in my hand that they called me to come and pick it up that same day!!!!
5. I'm never home and if I am I have PC's, laptops, mac computers and devices and etc to hook up to. I'm taking a long s***! Cool... hook it up to the cellphone with my Bose speaker and its lit! Everyone is using the t.v.'s within the house... no doubt... jump on my mac, laptop or tablet with my Bose speaker and its lit again. I'm on the bus and it's crazy loud... no doubt... hook it up to my cellphone... throw on my bose noise cancelling headphones and zone out. I'm sure some of these features aren't there yet but I'm very patient and if this is a google product I expect it to work as good as the internet over time. I ain't making no excuses for google. Them niggas gotta hold their own ground. But I'm sick of buying unnecessary consoles. With that being said...
6. I'm a SEGA Fan!!! I was forced into buying an x box... I was forced into buying a playstation... I actually prefer Nintendo over both consoles. However, I love Battlefield and Nintendo isn't on that type of time yet. I haven't felt like I had options out of the 3 consoles and their handheld games in a while. I felt force to either get one of the consoles... but then I remembered this.
7. I'm always on the computer... I thought about getting steam but then steam games on mac suck dragonballs! In fact gaming on a mac sucks namekian d*** from universe 6. Thank goodness I'm using a mac 2010 that I can modify (which I've done) that allows me to use any GPU I want (currently using 2 amd radeon rx 5700 in my cheese grader mac). But then you still have to download windows to your machine. Did I mention I also own a rog laptop that I barely use? It's only for editing music videos that requires sony codecs. But even that has its limits with its GPU.
8. We are moving into the future of technology. I'm not trying to have billions of consoles laying around anymore. I have everything from early Nintendo and sega era to the death of dreamcast (a rare sega saturn that still works), a switch with all the controllers they made and a stupid ps4 that doesn't read disc. I dont want to keep checking my disc for scratches or looking at my console for dents, finger prints and etc. I rather buy dope controllers and games and go in. I'm currently looking at buying a c40 tr controller by astro. That would be my controller for fighting, shooters and racing games. The stadia controller will be for adventure games. The idea of using any controller for the console is pretty dope too. So no more... if it was a xbox controller I would've won or ps4 controller this... mofo'r here's a SNES or Sega controller by 8bito. There's no more excuses you can make when you lose.
8. Stadia s***s on every consoles... they're going to have every game except for the co sole executive ones on their streaming services. Everyone is trying to get this cloud thing right and it looks like google is doing just that. Switch and stadia are both portable. Instead of carrying a switch with its specialized back and game cases, it's all at the finger tips of your devices. The most you have to bring is a controller. I can live with that... because you I can't do that with any Sony or Microsoft console at the moment and I don't think I ever would want to. Switch is dope... but I hate carrying extra ish when traveling to my wife's family house or vacationing out of state. What switch kicks stadia in the nuts at is that you don't need internet connection. In fact all consoles kick stadia in the nuts with that concept overall. But I have the highest internet plan already so playing in 4k is not an issue unless it's a google issue which can all be fixed with an update. But google has to stay on their job and don't get discouraged by the noise around them. Andy Frisella made this point about customer service which is why a lot of brand new companies with ideas fail. If you don't listen to the negative feedback that shows your flaws within your business, than how could you be a business if you don't find a solution for your customers? You need to question everything, anything and everyone that has an issue. Really? Explain the issue to me again? Aah... I see. I'm going to send in this information asap. Thank you for your Services and let me send you a free game trail to keep you busy in the meantime while we get to work on this. It can be the 90s version of pac man... or a new game google is developing with some underdogs. The customer will always remember how you treated them. Especially all these bloggers because they're going to be the ones nitpicking at things. Also they are your following. Never let your following down. They are going to be the ones to tell their friends and their friends is going to tell their friends and their friends put on their friends. It's a never ending link unless you ignore your fanbase like Sega did for years. I hope this sonic movie helps them because it would be great to see them back into the console world once again. That would be the only console I'll buy unless stadia decided to add a hardware to their business. But that would defeat the purpose of their future proofing plan for streaming games without any hardware.
I'm outs... I'm not fighting with anyone or any bad vibes because it's a never ending cycle I want to break. To each their own... you gotta like what you like. F me... f your friends and all the people out here making these things possible. Stadia reminds me of the camera company called blackmagic designs. They promised 4k out the box at a cheap price. They got the 4k but the camera had other issues. You know what kept them afloat. Listening to their customers. Delivering updates and firmware after all the feedback. If it wasn't for them doing so in the beginning they wouldn't be out shining companies like canon and Nikon. I'm a blackmagic and fuji user and the only comp they have is sony. If stadia listen to the people and grow with their consumers we will slowly be seeing a new age of gaming/gamers rising. A growing community is a fruitful culture. But a community that doesn't grow together will always see failure and therefore isn't fruitful at all.
