Michael’s Story

This is another collaborative project between NAMI NYC Staten Island and Five Flags Company, Inc. Five Flags Company works to promote financial empowerment for those who are less fortunate on Staten Island and beyond. Drug addictions are prevalent issues, particularly on Staten Island. By sharing experiences of those living with addictions, their loved ones, and clinicians, we hope to offer insights and tools for coping with the ravages of addiction. Moreover, we want to get the word out to young people at risk. This is Michael's Story.

I'm looking for people to interview for upcoming podcast episodes. Whether you are a person living with mental illness, a family member or clinician who wants to share insights, I want to connect. The podcast is listed on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play Music, and others, so there are many listeners who will appreciate what you have to say. If you are not in the NYC area you can call in by phone or via Skype. I don't do live broadcasts, so you will always get to approve the final edit before it gets published. Please contact me at [email protected] so we can plan a podcast episode together.

Thank you,
Pete/NPO Media
