The rules for the points series are on the website in detail.

Most runners are just coming to the races to compete in a race or two or three, but we do have a point series going on at the same time. As mentioned, rules can be found at at www.runningseries.com. We would run out of space if we tried to post it all here.

Great morning at the classic 10k@10,000ft and 5k@10,000ft on beautiful Rabbit Ear's Pass!

We had a great turnout to benefit Steamboat Nordic. This race continues to fund their efforts to groom Bruce's trail for 🎿 on the pass early season.

The weather was perfect today, the course in great shape, and we had some fast times !

Look at that, it's another race weekend and it's a holiday edition!

Tomorrow morning, we have the classic and famous 10K at 10,000 feet at 10:00 AM!

The 10k@10 is one of the oldest in the state of Colorado at almost 50 years running

Come join us tomorrow morning on Rabbit Ears Pass for either the 10k@10 ( closer to 7M) or the 5k@10( closer to 3.4) for this benefit for Steamboat Nordic

Packet pick up is today from 4 to 6 o'clock at ( no early birds)

Make it a full weekend with the Oak Creek No Fun Run on Monday as part of the OC's Labor Day festivities. Please direct questions for that race to their contact which can be found on our website as well.

Also don't forget the show at Howelsen Sunday night!

It's not often that we have races on back-to-back weekends, but that's how the calendar worked out this year.

More miles=more fun

Congratulations to everyone who ran the CDT Saturday. Now it's time to lace those shoes back up and be ready for another weekend on the trails!

On Sunday, we have one of the oldest races in the state of Colorado at the classic 10K+ at 10,000 feet! Did you know that this race was voted best 10K in the state a few years ago. We also havr a 5K+ at 10.

If you'd like to Nordic and backcountry ski on rabbit ears pass early in the season, you can thank the folks at Steamboat Nordic. They groom Bruce's trail for the public to use early season, amd proceeds from this race help fund that endevour 🎿

For everyone running the 50 Miler in a couple weeks, this race is on the Dumont sections of the course and it's a great last tune up

It was gorgeous and also a hot one and the runners showed up in full force! The 50k was back to its full length and we had over 300 runners with participants from 25 states and 2 countries!

This year at CDT we are honoring our friend Alex Pashley who passed away in March in an avalanche in Canada.

Alex along with were long time past RD's of this race and Alex is the mastermind behind the 50K option.

Alex was a true adventurer and we hope you will take that spirit with you this weekend.

There will be quite a few runners out there shuffling in his honor Saturday. When it gets tough and you're tired, sore and not feeling well, we just want you to remember that it's all a gift. It is a complete gift to be out there and thank you for coming to Steamboat to suffer just a little bit ❤️

We can't wait to see you all starting on Friday!

It's race week! 🎉

This Saturday, August 23rd is the Continental Divide Trail Run and we cannot wait to see you all!

We have a few spots still open for the 50K, 16M(25K) and 5 miler. The 5 mile is a great option for anyone to race a hard 5, or run and hike it while you wait for your runners doing the longer distances.

Look for a pre-race email coming to your inbox on Tuesday with every detail that you are looking for! We ask that you all read through the entire email so that you have all of the information needed.

Packet pick up is from 4 to 6 o'clock on Friday at - please no early 🐦

We will have shirts on hand for purchase and remember everyone who purchases a race T-shirt will be entered into a raffle for a $100 gift card to - something we can all use!

The weather has been beautiful, see you this weekend!
