Not working. Not behind the camera. Just here soaking up the show life, a little freedom, and probably a sunburn.

A big thank you to the American Dexter Cattle Association for having us out to capture the National Show in Pryor, Oklahoma! 🐮📸

Y’all brought the good cattle, good people, and a whole lot of fun—especially when it came to the costume contest and obstacle course (those pics are coming soon, we promise 😅).

Happy Father’s Day to the dads who taught us how to back a trailer, how to fit cattle with sheep head clippers, and always know where the elite restaurants are across the country.... literally I can call my Dad anywhere in the country and he can tell me where the good Love's is and which restaurant is worth stopping for...

My mom runs with a wild gang of ho**ers.
Got your attention? 😏

Rug ho**ers, y’all. Picture a biker gang, but instead of leather and Harleys, it’s women who are fiercely passionate about fiber arts. They don’t mess around.

On my last whirlwind trip to New York, one of Mom’s ho**er friends (hi Jane!) asked if I’d photograph her husband and their draft horses. Those photos? Chef’s kiss. I’m real proud of them.

But if you give me the chance to photograph sheep? I'm gonna take it. Every time. Even if you didn't ask me to.

Whether it’s:
🐑 A fiber-focused flock
🐑 A commercial flock I can’t get within 100 yards of
🐑 A pen full of fancy show sheep
🐑 Or 6 pet Icelandics living their best life in your backyard

I’m here for it. Bring me to the sheep.

One of the few places in my life I’ve never questioned if I belong?
A sheep barn. Some people find God in a church, 9 times out of 10 I find him in a sheep barn or a cattle show barn with a blower in my hand and the fans running.... that's a story for another day.
