people have never heard of it.

Bulls Island Recreation Area in Stockton,
NJ is an 80-acre forested island with:

🧺 Large picnic area with tables + grills
🌳 Massive old-growth shade trees
💧 Canal and river views from your table
🌉 A historic pedestrian bridge to PA
🅿️ Free parking — no entry fee ever

It's quiet. It's beautiful. And it's
completely free.

About 1 hour from NYC.
About 1.5 hours from Philadelphia.

⚠️ Heads up: No swimming permitted.
⏱️ Plan about 2–3 hours for a full visit.
