Since around the mid 1970s, dance music has enjoyed popularity in many nightclubs, and is the predominant type of music played in discothèques as well as the rave scene in the late 1980s. As such, the related term club music, while broadly referring to whichever music genres are currently in vogue and associated with nightclubs, has become synonymous with all electronic dance music, or just those genres—or some subset thereof—that are typically played at mainstream discothèques. It is sometimes used more broadly to encompass non-electronic music played at such venues, or electronic music that is not normally played at clubs but that shares attributes with music that is. What is widely considered to be club music changes over time, includes different genres depending on the region and who's making the reference, and may not always encompass electronic dance music. Both terms vaguely encompass multiple genres, and sometimes are used as if they were genres themselves. The distinction is that club music is ultimately based on what's popular, whereas electronic dance music is based on attributes of the music itself

🚨 Platoons are officially coming to Battlefield 6 in Season 5 Phase 3.

EA says the feature will let players create or join their own Platoons and build larger in-game communities around their squad.

Here’s what’s confirmed so far:

👥 Up to 100 members per Platoon
🏷️ Custom Platoon tags
🎮 Easier partying with other members
👑 Leadership and membership management tools
🔓 Different join settings
⭐ XP bonuses for playing together

EA also says this first version is only the foundation, with more social and community features planned to expand Platoons over time.

There’s no exact release date yet, but Platoons are currently on track for Season 5 Phase 3.

For players who’ve been waiting for a proper clan-style system in Battlefield 6, this could be a huge addition. 👀

🚨 Call of Duty: Ghosts remains one of the biggest “what ifs” in Call of Duty history.

Released in November 2013, Infinity Ward’s Ghosts introduced an entirely new universe, the elite Ghosts unit, dynamic multiplayer maps, and Extinction — a four-player co-op mode that replaced zombies with an alien threat.

Almost 13 years later, Call of Duty has returned to Modern Warfare and Black Ops multiple times, but Ghosts has never received a direct sequel.

And as of today, Activision has not announced Ghosts 2 or a Ghosts remaster, with Infinity Ward currently focused on Modern Warfare 4.

Maybe it’s time to bring the mask back. 👀💀
