I love cooking all kinds of foods but my best is Cambodian food because this was the food my grandmother and mother shared with me. After my grandmother passed away so did many of the Cambodian traditional recipes for delicious food. I did learn to cook some of the food while watching my grandmother in the kitchen, but it will never be the same as her.

Cambodian boiled bananas, potatoes,and yams. Look simple but something about it taste very good. My favorite was the banana.

Celebrating Boun Pchum Ben at Wat Lodi, Cambodian Spiritual Religious Festival. There were candle lights floats remembering our loved ones that passed away. Since this was the first time the temple did the candle lights float, we hope to see more people join in next year to preserve the tradition. Thank you to the temple committees for putting this event together. 🙏

Anyone who admires ancient temples and history, truly needs to visit Siem Reap, Cambodia. There are so many temples that we regretted didn’t have time to visit all. I’m so amazed how our Khmer Ancestors able to construct magnificent and beautiful temples.
