Stockton, Calif. — The Stockton Police Department is investigating a homicide after a shooting in the 2100 block of Battlement Drive in the Seaport District.

Officers responded around 12:15 a.m. after reports of a shooting.

According to police, the 53-year-old male victim was involved in an argument with a known suspect when the suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot him in the leg.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Detectives responded and have taken over the investigation. No further suspect information has been released.

Stockton, Calif. — The Stockton Police Department is investigating a homicide after a shooting in the 2100 block of Battlement Drive in the Seaport District.

Stockton, Calif. — Officers responded to Hickock Court in the Bear Creek District following reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had crashed into a tree inside the court. A Hispanic male juvenile driver was found inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound, with reports of a gun shot wound to the head.

AMR responded to the scene and the juvenile victim was pronounced deceased.

Additional officers located a second male victim, 55, suffering from a graze wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The investigation remains active. No suspect information has been released.

Tracy, Calif. A massive commercial fire at the Medline Industries warehouse continues to impact the area as firefighters work to contain the blaze.

The fire broke out at the large distribution facility near Promontory Parkway, sending heavy black smoke visible for miles.

Officials say approximately 200 firefighters responded as crews battled the flames. Nearby businesses were evacuated as a precaution while emergency crews worked to stop the spread.

Authorities confirmed employees and on-site personnel were accounted for, and no injuries have been reported.

The City of Tracy declared a local emergency as firefighting operations continue.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Stockton, Calif. The Stockton Police Department responded this evening to reports of a possible fight near the Arco gas station on March Lane and Pershing Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a severe injury to the back of his head. Bystanders were reportedly with the victim when officers arrived.

Officers were able to identify a possible suspect vehicle described as a black Dodge Charger with black rims, possibly occupied by three suspects.

A vehicle matching the description was located, but it is not yet confirmed whether it was connected to the incident.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The investigation remains ongoing.
