Being alone is one thing.
But feeling alone while being with someone you love?
That’s a different kind of pain.
We used to talk for hours. Laugh at small things. Share everything. But slowly, that connection faded.
You were there… but not really there.
Your attention was somewhere else. Your energy changed. And I could feel it, even when you said nothing was wrong.
I tried to ignore it at first. Told myself I was just overthinking.
But deep down, I knew.
I knew I was losing you… even before you left.
And the worst part? I stayed.
I stayed hoping things would go back to how they were. But they didn’t.
Instead, I learned that sometimes…
being alone is better than feeling invisible next to someone.
