A very beautiful soul picked up these shells on the beach in Zanzibar and handed them to me. I did a little research on why we love shells and discovered it was deeper than I knew. Of course, the connection to the ocean and the fact that their former inhabitants have died and been consumed by other sea creatures is powerful, but I didn’t know about the mindfulness aspect. Shells are said to have gentle healing energy and often represent positivity, femininity, tranquility, and transformation. Whatever the reason he handed them to me or my fascination with their delicate nature, I’ll treasure this gift from the universe and him. 🫶🏽
