"You are responsible to know that [a similar atrocity] can happen if you close your eyes, if you don’t want to see what is happening in this world," Erika Jacoby, a Holocaust survivor, said at an all school assembly today. "But you can not isolate yourselves because you think you are not like that. You are part of the people around you, and you are as responsible as I am for human behavior."
