I've been making a version of this pulled pork for years after I saw the movie

Bought this 5lb beauty on sale

It's so easy to put together and the flavors are basically a 10 out of 10

🍊 Juice of 2 oranges
🍋‍🟩 Juice of 2 limes
🧄 5 cloves of garlic minced finely
🌶️ Chipotle peppers in adobo sauce I usually do 3-5 chopped up
🧂 salt generously
Add cumin, oregano and chili powder to taste

Set in low for at least 8 hours

Enjoy over rice , tortilla chips, make tacos or make Cuban sandwiches like the movie 🎥

Ground chicken calzone inspired by

Ingredients per calzone

8oz ground chicken
1 slice prosciutto
3 slices capicola
3 slices mozzarella
Fresh basil 🌿
Grated parmegiano reggiano
Breadcrumbs on top
Olive oil

Flatten the chicken between parchment paper making a circle. Stuff with ingredients and fold over. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes on a rack or until golden on top.

Last chance to get a taste of fall 🍁 at ☕️ Coffee House before they switch to their winter menu ⛄️

The Smashing pumpkins latte is my favorite coffee indulgence this time of year ... all scratch made , premium and organic ingredients. They use for all of their full menu.

Wifey loves their use of earthy tones and their Brown Butter Sage latte is just what she needed to start our rainy Saturday of madness before Thanksgiving week consumes our sanity 🤪 🦃

How do you refuel after a 2 hour mountain bike trail ???

Wifey found this hidden gem in Wading River after an intense ride in Calverton (swipe for POV footage of the trail)

Watermark of Wading River was just what we needed with an impression selection of brunch options.

🍳 I had the Caprese omelette with prosciutto, tomato, mozzarella and basil pesto. The multi grain toast was to die for and the side of bacon 🥓 (not pictured) was perfectly crisp.

🥪 Wifey enjoyed the brioche bacon egg and cheese sandwich with a side of fresh fruit

🦀 The kid enjoyed his crab cake sandwich

We ordered cheese blintzes to share and can't wait to go back and try the pancakes and waffles.
The table next to us has a burrata avocado toast that looked like a show stopper!!!

☕️ My cappuccino and my wife's iced coffee were also on point.

We will be back this fall!!!

Found this lemon pasta and had to try it. The pasta is delicate and the lemon from the pasta isn't overbearing leaving plenty of room for fresh lemon in my recipe below.

This was a 10 out of 10! Bonus points for the pasta being organic and containing zero seed oils.

Healthy, flavorful and easy to prepare.

I prepared it all in my stainless steel pan.

🍋 Garlic Shrimp & Lemon Pasta with Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes (Serves 2)

Ingredients:
• 🍤 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 🍝 6–8 oz Trader Joe’s lemon-infused pasta
• 🍅 1.5 cups heirloom cherry tomatoes, halved
• 🧄 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced or minced
• 🫒 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 🍋 Juice of ½ lemon (or to taste)
• 🌶️ Pinch of red pepper flakes
• 🧂 Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or basil
• Optional: 1–2 tbsp grated Parmesan



Instructions:
1. Cook the Pasta:
• Boil a pot of salted water.
• Cook pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
2. Sauté the Tomatoes:
• In a large skillet over medium heat, warm 1 tbsp olive oil.
• Add the halved cherry tomatoes with a pinch of salt and cook for 3–5 minutes, until they soften and start to blister. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp:
• Add a little more oil if needed. Cook shrimp for ~2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. Garlic & Combine:
• Add remaining olive oil to the pan.
• Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
• Return shrimp and tomatoes to the skillet.
• Add drained pasta, lemon zest, lemon juice, and a splash of reserved pasta water. Toss everything gently over low heat to combine.
5. Finish:
• Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
• Top with fresh parsley or basil, and a touch of grated Parmesan if desired.



Optional Enhancements:
• Add a handful of baby spinach or arugula at the end until just wilted.
• Drizzle with a tiny bit of balsamic glaze for a sweet contrast.

• Carbs: ~50–55g
• Fat: ~15g
• Calories: ~525–575

Heading to NYC for a show and looking for upscale dining experience??? We highly recommend in Chelsea. We walked from Penn station for 5:30 reservation and had plenty of time prior to our 8:00 show at MSG.

The service was excellent, the atmosphere was cozy and elegant and the food was fresh with great attention to detail.

Everything was made in house including the pasta.

Visiting Las Vegas for the in Las Vegas show you’re always guaranteed two things.

1. Great relationships, conversations and memories.

2. Amazing food prepared with attention to detail.

On our first night here we visited KYU at the Fountainbleau featuring Asian woodfired small plates, including tuna over crispy rice, hamachi crudo , the duck breast , chilean Seabass, and spareribs.

The feature photo is a Japanese whiskey old-fashioned that was well balanced, and went down smooth.
