I thought press-on nails would be the easy solution. They weren't.

When I found out I'd be able to do my first photoshoot for Sitting Beauty, I was excited. The outfits were planned, and it was down to the last-minute details.

I wanted to do something with my nails, but I didn't have time to go get them done. I'd seen a few posts from , found them on Amazon and decided to give them a try.

For the photoshoot, my mom ended up helping me put them on. But afterward, I wanted to find out whether I could do it independently.

That's when things got interesting.

I wrote about what happened and what the experience made me think about getting things done differently.

A collection worth another look.

In the July 2026 issue of Sitting Beauty, we took a look at 2026 collection, an eight-piece collection featuring pieces that's all about showing off your sense of style confidently and unapologetically.

What made us want to share this latest collection with our readers wasn't only the individual pieces, but the collection as a whole and what brought to this latest launch, more pieces thare were about style with confidence and comfort, aspects that are at the heart of the brand.

Earlier this summer, I had the chance to visit the Museum of Disability History. As I went into the room with the main exhibits, it was exciting to see, to be in that place with all our history.

At the same time, it was disheartening to see what those before us had to deal with when it came to misconceptions about disability. We have come along way, but there is still so much more to do.

Sitting Beauty has grown one issue, one interview, one photoshoot, one event, and a lot of asking at a time.
