Jillybean finished her turkey neck. And thought she would just abscond with Bae’s Marrowbone. She can’t get it in her mouth and she can’t carry it so she just assumes the downward dog and hovers over it. Apparently with enough threat that he had to come get me and tell. 😂🦴🐾

Jillybean has had a very full dance card this Memorial Day weekend. She started her first nose work class (AKC Scent work) she went and visited her human sister Kealy for a much-needed groom she was getting scraggly! She got some new balls (her favorite small sized 🎾) and after all that this little Memorial Day princess had to take a big nap! 💤 🐾

When I’m trying to explain to people on message boards for dog advice on training puppies, and I talk about the puppy socialization period. Is the optimal time to introduce them to lots of things before they hit a natural fear period. When they are young, they are curious about everything and it’s the best time to introduce them to what I call 10:10:10 in the first 30 days. 10 new people, 10 new places, 10 new sounds and when I say 10 that’s just a minimum. Jillybean in the first 30 days coming home with me,  had met 50 people. By her second month with me she had met over 100, but we are overachievers. Start small, get creative, make it fun. You will have a much better adjusted dog because of it.
