Lynne's Batgirl cowl is done!

I popped it on a print of Sara Raftery who is the same size as Yvonne Craig and is the model I'll be using when I sculpt the Batgirl bust.

Unfortunately, the hard resin ears keep the sides pushed out.

The mask is wired and the owner will have the pleasure of forming it to her face. I didn't want to mess around with that for these photos.

Lynne is forging ahead with the Batgirl Cowl. Lots of hand work on this thing.

The first time we met the owner of the cowl, Lynne took dozens of measurements and created a pattern off it.

A few months later I visited with a friend that scanned the original Batgirl cowl (her #1 hero cowl!!) and prepped it to print. That's the full sized print in the image.

My small bit is the Batgirl utility belt. I took a rubbing of an original and had the parts cut in brass. That's how the original was made. This is what it looks like after soldering and sandblasting prior to paint.

Interesting note is that they soldered the entire belt buckle from the donor fishscale belt on the back for the attachment. So of course, I do the same thing!

I know they took one to create the rubber mask Molly rips off in the pilot...
It's pretty featureless, but it would have made it a lot easier.

BLAST FROM THE PAST! The run of "Ultimate Cowls" made using the original fabric and a fiberglass shell made from a scan of an original screen used cowl.

These were just a fraction of the entire run and probably more cowls than were made in two years of production on the show!

Hi All,
This is a list for those interested in the next batch of 10 Hot Line Phones. They are $800.00 plus shipping.

These are fiberglass prop phones of the exact make and model used on the show, that lights up and beeps with the same sound file used by production.

They DO NOT work as real phones. They DO NOT connect to Bluetooth. They DO NOT connect to Police Headquarters.

They are replica props of what was on set, minus the grip behind the wall turning on the light and the post production sound effects being added.

The edition is limited to 50 and the first 20 are sold.

Two of the set of 10 from 30 to 39 are spoken for so if you are interested, chime in below or by PM and we will get you on the list and an invoice out to you.

I make them in batches of 10 because they eat up a bunch of time in the shop and it can get overwhelming when other pieces are due.

Delivery in 8-12 weeks from when we get enough on board to start.
