❗️ Quick update, everyone. I accidentally disconnected this page while adjusting my Facebook settings, but it’s fully restored now.

Marquese is doing wonderful. He’s working, staying focused, and doing everything required to fulfill his court obligations.

Thank you for continuing to stand with us. 💛

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” — Exodus 14:14

Strong. Calm. Faith-filled. 🙏🏽

❗️Update & Thank You 💙

I want to thank everyone who took the time to comment, message, and share resources when I posted about Marquese being denied a job because of his felony. Your advice, encouragement, and specific leads truly mattered.

Because of you, Marquese is now employed.

Thank you for not judging his past, for believing in second chances, and for helping point us in the right direction. We are genuinely grateful!!

As his aunt, this outpouring of support meant more to us than words can say.❤️

⁉️Update on Marquese:

Hello everyone!!! Marquese is doing as well as he can right now, staying focused and trying to move forward one step at a time. That said, this morning he was denied a job due to a felony background, which was discouraging news for someone who is genuinely trying to do better.

If anyone here has experience, resources, or knows of employers or programs that work with felony backgrounds, we would truly appreciate you sharing. We believe in second chances, and we know the right opportunity is out there. Thanks!

‼️He’s currently in the Tuscaloosa County area and does not yet have a driver’s license or vehicle, so he’s relying on family to help him get where he needs to go. Job would have to be close to that area, thanks so much!!

❣️To everyone who has supported Marquese, please know how important you are to his journey. Every prayer, kind word, and show of love has mattered more than you may ever realize.

Since coming home, he’s taking things one day at a time, trusting God and moving forward. He was blessed to have a good Christmas surrounded by family and friends, and we are truly grateful for that moment of peace and joy.

As his aunt, I want to thank you for continuing to lift him up in prayer. We believe God is not finished yet, and as we step into the new year, we move ahead with faith, hope, and gratitude for each of you. A few pictures from Christmas Day❤️

What happened to Ricky Metcalfe? 💔

Ricky was last seen April 5th in Vernon, Alabama.
Since then — no contact, no sightings, no answers.

As a former Lamar County resident myself, I knew Ricky and his family, this silence isn’t like him.
His family is hurting.
Someone knows something.

If you have any information, please contact Vernon Police Department: (205) 695-7103.

Please share.
Let’s bring answers to Ricky’s family.

Ricky Metcalfe's family is still searching for answers, almost three weeks since he went missing.

If you woke up today,
your story isn’t over.

Read that again.

Your past doesn’t define you.
Your mistakes don’t cancel your purpose.

Starting over isn’t failing, it’s strength.

Someone needs this reminder today:
you still matter. You’re still needed.

Stand up. Take the next step.
You’re still here and you’re not done yet.

❣️Just a quick update on Marquese. He’s doing well, but he’s carrying a lot right now feeling stressed and overwhelmed as he tries to find some sense of normal again after everything he’s been through. He’s taking things one day at a time, trusting God as he works toward finding a job and meeting his requirements. He has so much on his plate, but we truly believe God’s hand is on him and that, in His time, he will be exactly where he’s meant to be.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for every prayer, message, and word of encouragement.❤️
