These cold, damp, gray weather conditions have inspired me to start thinking of our Southern excursion for the winter months. Our departure isn't slated until November or December, pending Albert's availability, but just thinking about it, and researching places is already proving to be a morale booster and warming my soul.

Good Saturday Morning!
Today's the day our family goes all out for Mothers Day, and by all out, I mean our kids and six grandbabies come over to kick my butt at kickball.
We'll also be stuffing our faces at the taco bar, margaritas included, because priorities. 😆
I look forward to this unique celebration all year, which we conveniently schedule a week before the actual Mothers Day, so they can focus on their own celebration, without stressing about fitting me into their day.
Today, though, is a total bummer - grey, cold, and rainy. 😔 The forecast calls for a continuance of this yuck all day.
We're still on for the party, but we may need to forgo the kickball game, as we eat all the tacos and enjoy each other's company. 🌮 🌯 🍹
