Some former Raiders didn’t stop chasing greatness when their NFL days wrapped up — they took their talents north and lit it up with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the CFL! 🏈🍁

Here are a few Silver & Black alumni who rocked the green and white:

🔹 Darryl Hobbs – A deep threat wide receiver with the Raiders in the ‘90s, Hobbs brought his speed and veteran presence to the Roughriders, proving he still had juice up north.

🔹 Zeph Lee – A hard-hitting safety and special teams ace with the Raiders, Lee brought that Raider toughness to Saskatchewan’s defense.

🔹 Louis Rankin – Once a promising running back in Oakland, Rankin made his way to the CFL and continued breaking tackles for the Riders.

🔹 Kory Sheets – From the Raiders’ practice squad to Roughriders legend — Sheets exploded in the CFL, earning a Grey Cup MVP and solidifying his name in Rider history.

These guys showed that the commitment to excellence doesn’t stop at the border. Whether in the Black Hole or under the lights of Mosaic Stadium, they left it all on the field. 💪🇨🇦
