(ad) 30-Minute Asian Beef Stir-Fry...High-protein, big flavor, zero fuss. Feedfeed
This Asian Beef Stir-Fry is my go-to easy, high-protein meal that’s ready in just 30 minutes. I used Top Sirloin Steak for its great protein, lean profile, and budget-friendly price, then tossed in fresh vegetables for a satisfying crunch - simple to make and seriously delicious! Recipe below 👇
Ingredients (4 servings)
• ~1 lb beef Top Sirloin Steak, sliced 1-inch thick
• 4 cups assorted fresh vegetables (I used broccoli, bell peppers, carrots)
• 1 tsp minced garlic
• 1/2 cup prepared stir-fry sauce (see below; can also use pre-made stir-fry sauce from the store)
• 1/8–1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
• 2 cups hot cooked rice
Sauce
• 3 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp oyster sauce
• 2 tbsp mirin
• 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1/2 tsp white pepper
Garnish
• 2 tbsp unsalted dry-roasted peanuts (optional)
Steps
1. Slice beef lengthwise in half, then crosswise into 1/4 -inch thick strips.
2. Heat a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add 3 tbsp water and the veggies, cover and cook ~4 minutes until crisp-tender. Remove, drain, and set aside.
3. Heat same pan over medium-high heat until hot. Add half of beef and half of garlic; stir-fry 1 to 2 minutes or until internal temperature of 145°F for medium rare as measured by a meat thermometer. Remove. Repeat with remaining beef and garlic.
4. Return all beef and vegetables to pan. Add stir-fry sauce and crushed red pepper; heat through.
5. Serve over hot rice and top with peanuts, if desired.
