Those who know me would probably not be surprised by this feedback. I think this was a really nice way of saying I'm a *bit* chatty. I like his wording better, though 😁

But even though that's my natural state, I adjust for different personalities, because the end game is aways the same: create the environment that's relaxing for the person in front of the camera. For some people that's chatting and getting distracted. For others it's music or even calm and quiet. Whatever it is for you, expect that for your session, because what I want for your session... is for you to feel comfortable.

One of the questions we'll cover before a headshot session is what kind of feel or vibe you'd like your images to have. One way to think about this is to ask yourself, what are a few words I would like people seeing this to associate with me?

Professional. Approachable. Kind. Knowledgable. Ambitious. Creative. Attentive. Calm. Resourceful. Compassionate. Honest. Loyal. While viewers may not get aaaall of that from your headshot, we can absolutely design a session that visually supports your personal brand words.

If I had waited until I felt truly "ready" to launch this labor of love of mine, I would still be waiting. Now here we are, more than 10 years later and I am SO GLAD I took the plunge to do something I truly, truly love.

This gorgeous model (nope, she's a teacher!) said something at our ordering appointment that I think everyone should hear... she said she was a little overwhelmed looking at her gallery, because she had seen all the beautiful headshots, but she didn't think of herself that way and didn't realize hers would look like that. They did, and so will yours 🥰 And PSA: thank your teachers!

Beth is an Interior Designer, and her projects are STUNNING. I can't do them justice, so you'll have to take a peek at her work at or on her website at binteriors.net. I especially love her posts that highlight her clients' feedback. Not just because they feature some of the images from our session, 🥰 but because you can really see how much she puts into serving her clients well and delivering a beautiful and complete solution AND experience.

My other favorite part of this session was that Beth has a whole showroom FULL of gorgeous furntiture and accessories, so we got to create multiple different sets for her session. Keep an eye on her instagram, because every now and then she has a sale on some of the pieces in her showroom, and they are really high quality, beautiful peices!

🥰🥰🥰 Terri is an author (Scroll to see some of her amazing work!) and had a vision for a headshot that would fit the mood and theme of her books. It was so much fun creating this session to capture the chilly, slightly eerie, woods-in-the-winter feel we wanted for the backdrop to her headshots.

Not just a gorgeous face... this lady is smart, classy, and I just love her heart for lifting up others!

Luckily, she found a job that lets her do just that, by shining a spotlight on local families, businesses, non profits, and more in Johns Creek.
