This natural beauty wanted to keep her styling... well, natural. (Naturally). This is the look created for her, and it was perfection (or gum from Jill Goodacre, for any Friends fans). I absolutely love how it highlights her gorgeous skin and those EYES (!!!) while staying subtle and understated.

If I had waited until I felt truly "ready" to launch this labor of love of mine, I would still be waiting. Now here we are, more than 10 years later and I am SO GLAD I took the plunge to do something I truly, truly love.

I heard a quote that I absolutely love a long time ago on a random HGTV episode of something. It was something a father told his althlete daughter when she wasn't feeling the super-early practice or any of the other "have to's" it takes to be great at something. He'd tell her, "Might as well be awesome." As in, you have to get up and go anyway... might as well put your best self forward.

It's a personal favorite of mine, and makes me smile when I'm in a funk or not feeling the task in front of me. If it works for you, too, then you're welcome to borrow it. And now, back to work. Might as well be awesome!😉
