I hit 10,000 subscribers. I don’t even know what to say. It doesn’t feel real. Not because I didn’t believe I could get here, but because I stopped chasing this number a long time ago. I used to think growth came from grinding harder, following trends, or trying to be what the algorithm wanted. But that pressure only pulled me away from who I really was. Everything changed when I let that go.

Now, I speak from truth. From what I feel. From my real life. And somehow, that’s what brought people here. So, if you’re one of the 10,000 who decided to stick around, thank you. Thank you for watching, for commenting, for sharing, for feeling something in the words I put out into the world.

This isn’t the destination. It’s just one step along the way. But I’m proud of this one. As Lao Tzu once said, "When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be."

I used to obsess over results like these in the first 24 hours. But this time, I woke up this morning and only cared if this video helped someone. It’s funny how when you let go of the reigns and stop obsessing but create from the heart, it pays off far bigger than any brainstorming session. It’s not the numbers that matter to me anymore, it’s that one comment that said “I needed to hear this. Thank you.”

Lately, I’ve been out in the summer sun building a deck with my dad. It’s been hot, exhausting, and honestly, kind of beautiful. My video is taking a little longer but ironically it fits. I’m working on a video about Goku in the Cell Games arc, and what people often miss is this:

Before the big fight, Goku chooses rest.
He doesn’t train nonstop. He doesn’t burn out.
He spends time with Gohan and trusts his preparation.

So, I’m taking a page from Goku’s book and spending time with my dad. Learning through sweat, sawdust, and sunburn. Choosing presence over perfection. I’m not the handiest guy. The deck won’t be perfect. I’ll make mistakes. But when I see my family sitting on it one day, it’ll mean something.

Stay tuned.

Wires Don’t Talk has truly become a journal of mine told through the lens of Japanese pop culture. I don’t chase trends anymore, or stress over imaginary deadlines. I try to be present and follow what genuinely inspires me. That’s exactly what happened with my most recent video.

I watched JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 4 years ago. I thought it was cool and exciting, but I didn’t see the message it was trying to tell me. I wasn’t there yet.

I wasn’t a father.
I wasn’t on a spiritual journey.
I didn’t know your mind could be quiet.
I didn’t know what really matters. Not views. Not money. Not fame. But showing up for the people around you.

As I’ve grown, I’ve come to understand what Josuke represents. He’s not trying to be a star. He’s not trying to take on the world with clenched fists. He’s someone who can find beauty in the ordinary. Someone who can find peace in a quiet walk with a friend even when the world storms around him. Someone who values his family and friends, but also his own identity in a world that screams at you to be more.

I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did making it. It spoke to me on a deep level because I believe this truth with my whole heart: You can be great just by being you.

My birthday is today, and honestly, all I want is to keep growing and to have you with me on this ride. Before Wires Don’t Talk, everything I made was comedy. I’ve always loved making people laugh. But this channel became something different.
It turned into a kind of personal journal, a space to reflect, to explore big ideas, to search for meaning through the lens of Japanese pop culture. These videos? They’re really just lessons I’m living, disguised as anime essays.
But lately... something shifted. I’ve been going through a lot of spiritual and personal growth. And during that, I started returning to comedy, not as a distraction, but as another lens of truth.
So I created Wires Don’t Laugh. It’s not polished. Not structured. Not even fully “launched.” But it’s me exploring my comedic side. Inspired by minds like Norm MacDonald, Tim Dillon, Eric Andre, Nathan Fielder... and filtered through my own weird little world.
A wise person once told me:
“Comedy is the most profound commentary on tragedy and the human experience.”
So that’s the spirit behind this new series: Otaku Redpill

Check out the first episode and if it makes you laugh, think, or just feel a little less alone in the chaos: stick around.

You don't need to be a Shonen Protagonist.

The internet tells us we need millions of fans, side hustles, big muscles, and an empire just to matter. But what if the most powerful thing you can do…is show up?

In my next video, we dive deep into Josuke Higashikata and how Diamond is Unbreakable reveals a quieter kind of heroism, one rooted in kindness, emotional strength, and showing up for the people around you. No world-saving prophecy. No cosmic destiny. Just one teen with great hair who chooses to heal, protect, and be himself.

From Camus to Musashi, from Zen to masculinity, this is the story of why your life, yes, yours, is already worthy.

New video on the way.

I’m on vacation but I can’t help and work on my next video in my downtime! I never expected a loud, absurd, and offensive manga to teach me so much about mindfulness and listening to your soul. Detroit Metal City is a wild read and it’s fair to be confused at my connection to something deeper but that’s what the video is for because this manga came at an interesting point on my journey. I just finished the book “The Untethered Soul” and it truly changed my way of thinking. It discusses the voice in your head and how no matter the thought or emotion, it isn’t you. So who are you? Negishi explores that question in the most metal ways possible. We are all grappling with that voice in our heads. Some days it’s a pop star singing sweet tunes and others it’s a metal demon lord screaming at the top of its lungs but Detroit Metal City, The Untethered Soul, and my next video will ask “why can’t you love both?” Stay tuned.

This video was a challenge for me. I’ve always admired powerful storytelling, whether in anime, gaming, or from motivational speakers who push people beyond their limits. But stepping into that space myself? That was new.

I wanted to combine the two worlds I love: deep, introspective storytelling from games like Mega Man Zero and the energy of motivational speeches that actually hit. This isn’t about chasing success or recognition. It’s about the grind, the internal battle, and what it really means to push forward when no one is watching.

This video is different from what I usually make. It took me out of my comfort zone, but that’s exactly why I had to try it. Maybe it resonates with you, maybe it doesn’t, but if it makes you stop and think, even for a second, then it was worth it.

Why work so hard if no one will remember you? Why push yourself, stay disciplined, and endure hardships if there’s no fame, no fortune, no legacy at the end? Mega Man Zero isn’t just about intense action and difficult battles, it’s about something deeper. Zero doesn’t fight for recognition or status. He fights because it needs to be done. And that’s what makes him one of the most human characters in Mega Man. This video explores the philosophy of Zero, his journey of self-discovery, and the harsh truth the games reveal: hard work doesn’t always lead to glory. But it does lead to something greater…purpose.

Why work so hard if no one will remember you? Why push yourself, stay disciplined, and endure hardships if there’s no fame, no fortune, no legacy at the end?...

What if your thoughts were never your own? What if every choice you made was subtly programmed before you even considered it? Psycho-Pass isn’t just cyberpunk dystopia...it’s a warning. A prophecy of a world where free will is quietly rewritten, and morality is dictated by algorithms.

The Sibyl System doesn’t rule through force; it controls by making people accept its version of reality. It convinces them that its judgment is truth, that questioning it is dangerous, and that true freedom is a threat. But this isn’t just fiction, it’s happening right now.

Social media, AI algorithms, and predictive policing are already shaping our world in eerily similar ways. The content you consume, the beliefs you hold, even the products you buy, these aren’t just choices. They’re nudges, calculated and refined to keep you in a controlled loop.

Makishima saw this coming. His ideology isn’t terrifying because he’s a villain; it’s terrifying because it’s hard to dismiss. Through literature, philosophy, and brutal action, he forces us to ask: If a system decides our lives, do we really live at all?

What if your thoughts were never your own? What if every choice you made was subtly programmed before you even considered it? Psycho-Pass isn’t just cyberpun...
