A little channel update and a look at some "behind the scenes stuff! :)
We've been posting videos Monday and Thursday evenings lately, figuring those would be times when people are free to watch something new. I know.... I said I wasn't going to pay too much attention to the numbers and analytics on this platform, because I mainly would like to have this as "my silly little hobby".... buuuut....
While I still stand by that, I do feel that the videos uploaded here should (possibly?) do better than they do. I also (kinda) have a feeling that YouTube picks up a new video, shakes it around like a rabid dog and tosses it away after a day if it doesn't show any performance.
That being the case, I looked at this chart- which I feel that I can share with everybody... it shows when people who watch this channels videos are on the platform- watching stuff. The weekends are pretty solid... so posting something Friday night makes sense- so it's already there for weekends. Tuesdays kinda make a bit of sense also- there's this slight uptick after 5PM...
So our new schedule for a while will be Tuesdays at 5 PM (eastern) and Fridays at 5 PM.... Of course, I would always appreciate any input! (am I good at reading charts? probably not! hahahahahhaha..... *sigh*)
I love sharing places we go. Hopefully adjusting this schedule will work out better at the whole "findability" thing :)
I'm excited for this summer. We have some really cool things coming up- the "final" video from our trip to Pigeon Forge (Tuesday at 5) and have two amusement park videos set to go for the next few weeks. I've been doing some light research into a couple cemetery videos and have some extra Pigeon Forge vlogs that will go up in late August.
