Hot Sauce Lounge DJ Special Sauce plays a variety of esoteric music, varying the genres and themes each week.

Tune in on Thursdays from 3-4pm, at www.takomaradio.org or 94.3fm on the dial. DJ's Special Sauce and Enzo play a variety of eclectic lounge music, ranging from the playful styles popularized from retro eras (swing, ragtime, space age, jungle, exotica, and tiki), to modern day interpretations (electro swing, swinghop, downtempo, french pop, world beat, rockabilly, and surf) every other Thursday from 3-5pm.

This Thursday, there will be NO new wave, only the sea, Join DJ Special Sauce for an hour of NO WAVE music, from NYC in the late 70's-80's, including Sonic Youth, Cristina, Lydia Lunch, The Waitresses, ESG, Bush Tetras, James Chance, and more. She'll also include bands that influenced the movement: V.U., Captain Beefhart, Richard Hell, Su***de and Television. Join in and become part of the Blank Generation; an explosion of noise and attitude. The following week, she'll continue with more no wave music from bands that blended the no wave sound with undergroud club disco beats.
