September Top Seller with Marvelous Mouse Travels.
I am incredibly grateful every single time I see my name on this list because I know exactly what is behind it.
Yes, I travel a lot. You see the cruise ships, the theme parks, the resorts, the incredible destinations and, occasionally, me standing in line to meet a Disney character.
But what you may not always see is the laptop I’m holding while I wait. 😂
Unless I am traveling specifically with my children and intentionally taking family time, I am usually still working.
I may be on an excursion for a few hours. I may be somewhere without great Wi-Fi. My response might occasionally take a little longer than it would if I were sitting at my desk at home.
But I don’t disappear for a week at a time.
I am touching my email, checking on reservations, answering client questions, monitoring trips and taking care of my travelers almost every single day of the year.
And I genuinely love it.
This year especially, I have traveled more than I normally would because I made the decision to invest heavily in becoming an even better travel advisor.
I don’t want to simply boom you a vacation because I read about it online.
I want firsthand knowledge.
I want to understand the differences between cruise lines because I have sailed them.
I want to understand river cruising and expedition cruising because I have experienced them.
I want to know what an all-inclusive resort actually feels like when you arrive.
I want to understand the logistics of traveling through Europe, navigating destinations, touring resorts and experiencing the products I recommend to you.
Over nearly six years as a travel advisor, I have worked with families, couples and groups planning everything from Disney and Universal vacations to ocean, river and expedition cruises, all-inclusive resorts and customized international trips.
And I take an enormous amount of pride in continuing to learn.
One thing people may not realize about being an independent travel advisor is that no one tells me how much I need to invest in my business.
No one requires me to travel.
No one requires additional training.
No one tells me to provide client gifts or referral bonuses.
No one tells me how much of my income I should reinvest into becoming better at what I do.
I choose to.
Because when you trust me with your vacation, I want you to feel confident that you have someone in your corner who has put in the work.
And that is really what working with a travel advisor is about.
In the age of Google and AI, information is everywhere.
But information alone isn’t the same as experience.
It isn’t someone keeping your vacation organized, watching deadlines, reminding you what needs to happen next, answering the questions you didn’t even know you needed to ask, helping you compare options and advocating for you when something doesn’t go according to plan.
My job is to take some of that mental load off of you so your vacation becomes one less thing you have to worry about.
And one of the things I wish more travelers knew?
My planning services are complimentary.
I do not charge a planning fee, and booking your vacation with me does not cost you more than booking the same trip directly. I am compensated by the travel suppliers I work with.
So if you’ve always booked everything yourself, assumed using a travel advisor was expensive, or thought a Costco Shop Card was the better deal, I would simply encourage you to give professional travel planning a chance on your next vacation.
You may be surprised by how much value there is in having someone who does this every single day sitting on your side of the table.
To every client who has trusted me, referred a friend, shared one of my posts, booked another vacation or simply continued to cheer me on, thank you.
You are the reason I get to do a job I absolutely love.
And being named a September Top Seller is just a really special reminder that all of that work and investment is worth it. ❤️
Life Is Short; Adventure Awaits.
