Today we’re featuring Dylan Snowden. Dylan is a Florida native, a teacher, and proud mom of two—Raleigh (7) and Baker (6). The affirmations she’s shared with Raleigh and Baker since birth have led to the creation of two children’s books, including one set to be released early next year. These books focus on positive self-talk and teaching kids how to navigate life’s challenges with confidence. Time for another 🥳

Today we’re featuring . Meg Greve is a published children’s book author and editor, a first grade teacher, and an avid (not great) tennis player. She is mom to two grown-up kids and lives in Chicago with her husband, Tom. Although she loves teaching, as a New Mexico native, Meg’s favorite season is summer. She loves gardening, reading in the sun, cooking for friends, and biking around the city. Over the years, Meg has taken on various roles and responsibilities within BeaLu Books and is excited to continue exploring her potential both within the company and as an author.

Another 📚⭐️

Today we’re featuring . Edith M. Hemingway, known by her friends as Edie, is the author of four middle grade novels. Her most recent, That Smudge of Smoke, is listed on the Virginia Library Association’s Cardinal Cup 2024 Booklist for historical fiction. She earned her MFA in Writing from Spalding University and taught on the faculty of the Naslund-Mann Graduate School of Writing for nine years. When she’s not writing or spending time with family, Edie is busy making quilts or kayaking on some of the same rivers the steamboats used to travel. She lives with her husband in a house overlooking the Great Wicomico River on the northern neck of Virginia. Visit her website at https://www.ediehemingway.com

BeaLu Books is a community of kids, teachers, writers, artists, and readers. We publish fiction and nonfiction picture books, early readers, and chapter books for kids from pre-school through middle school. After being an educator and working in children’s publishing for many years, I started BeaLu Books to create books that kids want to read and coach writers on their publishing journey. There’s nothing better than seeing the AHA moments in readers and writers.
