it is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of the shining personalities of the Florida German-American community - just to turn 55 Van Tam Nguyen has passed away!
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his wife and family!
When I met Van Tam he was dancing with his Schuhplattlers and I asked “ What kind of German are you” - He laughed and said “ I am not German! - I am Austrian!” -
His humor was wonderful!
