Every year I tell myself I'm only going to make a few school sets...

Then the messages start coming in.

"I have twins..."
"My daughter loves Stitch..."
"My son is obsessed with Mario..."
"Can you make one with his picture?"

And before I know it, my craft room turns into a back-to-school factory. 😂

I think that's my favorite part—seeing each child's personality come to life.

Agree or disagree???
Sometimes the birthday girl deserves something that no one else gets.

I went live with an idea and a prayer. 😆

The goal: Create a gift box with somebody's face on it.

The risk: Looking foolish in front of everybody if it didn't work.

The result: A custom Face Gift Box that actually came together better than I imagined.

Here's a few highlights from the live!

The tutorial is FREE https://payhip.com/b/fDd4Y

Like many people, I grew up associating Juneteenth with the colors red, black, and green. But the official Juneteenth flag is actually red, white, and blue—a reminder that Black history is American history, and that our freedom story is part of the American story too.
So I challenged myself to create a skirt inspired by the actual Juneteenth flag. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
The design isn't finished yet, but I wanted to share the concept and take y'all along for the journey.
Did you already know the official Juneteenth flag colors?
And more importantly...
Would you wear this skirt?

At 20, I could stay up all night and still function the next day.

At 30, I needed a little more recovery time.

At 40, I'm on my knees pinning horsehair braid into a dress and considering my options.

To all the 30-year-olds under the sound of my virtual voice... enjoy it while it lasts.

Sincerely,

A woman who was 39 about five minutes ago. 😭😂

Creatives: posts 15 videos of an item they made from every possible angle.

Also CREATIVES when somebody asks about it:
😒 "It's just a little something I made."

Anyway... since y'all wanna be nosy, yes, I made the Candy Purse. 😂👜

Most people think measuring is the easy part of custom clothing.

It's not.

A measurement that's off by even 1 inch can completely change how a garment fits, especially around the waist, hips, and bust.

That's why in today's clip, I'm talking about one of the most common mistakes I see when taking waist measurements.

And before anybody comes for the beginners... even experienced designers and seamstresses can make measurement mistakes from time to time.

If you've ever ordered custom clothing that didn't fit the way you expected, drop a 👗 in the comments.
