According to reports, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are reportedly pushing for massive upgrades to Raymond James Stadium ahead of a major 2027 lease decision. Proposed renovations could reportedly cost up to $1 billion and include a large shaded structure for fans, upgraded premium seating, and even a new entertainment district around the stadium.
The Bucs must decide by January 2027 whether they’ll extend their lease at Ray Jay for another five years, while local leaders say any final plan will depend on what the city and county can realistically afford. Raymond James Stadium first opened in 1998 and has already undergone major renovations over the years, but the franchise now says more modernization is needed to keep up with today’s NFL experience. 🏈🏟️🏴☠️
